Skilled Nursing

The 140-bed BrookHaven Nursing Center lies nestled in the rolling countryside of Brookville, Ohio. Located on the 116 acre BrookHaven Retirement Community campus, the Center is licensed by the Ohio Department of Health and is Medicare and Medicaid certified.

The BrookHaven staff includes professionally trained nurses and nursing assistants working under the close supervision of our medical director. The center also has an experienced team of social workers, activity professionals and dietetic technicians committed to providing an exceptional level of competent, caring assistance to every resident.

Convenience, Comfort And A Taste Of Home

The tastefully appointed semi-private and private rooms offer large windows overlooking the tranquil countryside. We encourage residents and their families to decorate the rooms to reflect each individual’s unique personality. The common areas have wide, spacious corridors and handrails for safe, easy mobility throughout – regardless of the resident’s limitations. Lounge areas are decorated and equipped to facilitate conversation and other activities. In the courtyard residents can relax and enjoy the beautiful flower gardens and wild birds that frequently come to visit. Other amenities include:

For those individuals in the early and middle stages of dementia, Alzheimer’s and related disorders, specialized care is available in our Skilled Nursing Center. In a secure, homelike environment, residents have the opportunity to develop and maintain their abilities to their fullest potential. The professionally trained, caring staff brings structure and the comfort of familiar faces to each resident through a program of 24-hour activities, nutritious meals served in a specially designed dining area and a secure, attractive environment.
