The goal of BrookHaven Rehabilitation Care is to get you back to those you love as soon as possible with maximum mobility, performance, communication skills and swallowing function. Our highly qualified professional staff evaluates each patient’s functional abilities and then designs a rehabilitation program specifically for that individual. At BrookHaven we treat the whole person, seeking to improve the patient’s quality of life physically, emotionally and socially.
An Exceptionally Qualified Staff
The Rehabilitation Program at BrookHaven is designed exclusively for patients needing additional rehabilitation after a hospital stay. The rehab program provides the intensity of a hospital-based rehab program with the comforts and convenience of home. The program specializes in the treatment of a wide variety of conditions resulting from illness or injury, such as orthopedic injuries, joint replacements, stroke/neurological conditions, and general recuperation and strengthening after a lengthy hospital stay.
Our full-time, in-house team of physical, occupational and speech therapists provide therapy up to seven days per week, using an interdisciplinary, goal-oriented approach for each patient. When a patient is ready for discharge, the therapists conduct a thorough home evaluation to identify any safety and special equipment concerns.
Outpatient
In addition to comprehensive inpatient rehab service, we are pleased to offer outpatient therapy as well. Designed both for patients after returning home and as a service to other community members, our Outpatient Therapy Program offers convenience and the comfort of familiar faces.

Our new 15,000 square foot rehab facility was specially designed to enhance the rehabilitation process with convenient parking and entry ways, an abundance of open space for socializing with family and friends and much more:
- Spacious private and semi-private patient rooms with telephones and television for each patient at no additional cost.

- Personal vanity and sink for each patient.
- Private dining room, beauty salon and barber services.
- Fully equipped rehabilitation gym, whirlpool spa room, training kitchen and bath.
